The core account in FlipPay is the Merchant account, identified by a “merchant ID”.
A merchant ID is allocated to each Merchant account when the account is initially provisioned, and is available to view for authorised Merchant users within the Merchant portal or authorised Introducer users within the Introducer portal (for linked Merchant accounts).
Payment requests can be created via web interface, API, or via linked Introducer accounts (API, just using a different set of credentials) - but they will always be created on a Merchant account. It is possible for a Merchant to utilise all three methods and with multiple instances of each:
